Details

The Rubicon Trail is a legendary trek through the high Sierra wilderness. We will be camping one night while we traverse the trail. Consider this "cold camping" and pack accordingly. Expect evening temperatures to drop into the 20s, possibly the teens.

We will meet up at Icehouse Report and Mark will lead us through to Rubicon Springs where we will set up camp for the evening. Some are planning on staying Friday night at Ice House Resort. This will ensure we are fresh for the trail on Saturday morning. They have campsites that the resort and some rooms if you prefer something slightly more comfortable.
