Stephen McGowen will host us at Round Mountain and take us to see some neat sites in the area. Diana's Punchbowl, some mines, and ghost towns are on the list.

Meet Up 1: Caravan from Maverik Adventure's First Stop, 3922 US-50, Carson City, NV 89701, USA @ 8 AM
Meet Up 2: Shashone Market, 1 Willow St, Round Mountain, NV 89045 by 12:30 PM.
Trail Scale: Varies. Recommend Tall tires (33" plus) and traction aid devices (lockers, limited slips, A-TRAC) are always helpful, but not required. Body armor and skid plates wouldn't hurt.
What to Bring: Cool weather gear (layers), camping gear, water, snacks, meals for three days, chairs, recovery gear, HAM radio.

Friday - This is part road day and part trail day. We head out from Meet Up 1 to make our way to Meet Up 2 and gas up. Stephen will meet us at Meet Up 2 and lead us up to Jefferson Ghost Town where we can setup camp early and relax. Folks are welcome to explore the area in-vehicle or on foot.
Saturday - We will pack up early and head for Ophir Cemetery and Ghost Town, Diana's Punch Bowl, Potts Ranch. Camp at Belmont Campground on Pine Creek.
Sunday - Leisurely morning routine at camp before we pack up and head for Manhattan on our way to the highway. Pick up tow vehicles, get gas, and head for home.
