Dixie Valley 2-Night Campout
Tanks and Trails! This is an area largely unexplored by the club. We have done one overnight there a couple years ago and we are eager to get back out there to explore more of the area.

Meet Up 1: Caravan from Maverik Adventure's First Stop, 3922 US-50, Carson City, NV 89701, USA @ 9 AM
Meet Up 2: You can meet us at camp on Friday evening or Saturday morning if you cannot make it on Thursday.
Trail Scale: Various. Recommend Tall tires (33" plus) and traction aid devices (lockers, limited slips, A-TRAC) are always helpful but not required. Body armor and skid plates wouldn't hurt.
What to Bring: Cool weather gear (layers), tent, water, snacks, lunch, chairs, recovery gear, and HAM radio.

Details
There are TONS of untraveled (by us) trails out in this area. It is a WWII test range for tank warfare with lots of relics still in place including tanks and bunkers.
