Details

Some of the most stunning wilderness in the region! This is one of my favorite areas in the Eastern Sierras. The trail rating is normally a 4, I boosted it to a 5 due to the heavy snow and rains we had last winter. While the trailhead is in Nevada at Desert Creek (38.717078, -119.320780), we will do most of our trail time in California. None of us have attempted the southern descent to Bridgeport off Mt. Patterson, so there are some unknowns to explore. We will hop over to Chemung ghost town on our way into Bridgeport, and head home via Hwy 395. Some of us will have dinner at Mountain View Barbeque in Coleville on the way home.
