***Tahoe Rim NF is closed, so this will be King's Canyon only, no South Camp or Genoa Peak. Still an excellent run, probably my favorite part of the overall trip.***
What: Club Run
When: Saturday August 28th
Trailboss: Mark
Where: King's Canyon Trailhead - West King Street turns into King's Canyon Road which turns into the trail.
Meet Up: 9AM at Carson City Chevron - 1400 Rand Ave, Carson City, NV 89706, USA
Trail Time: 4 Hours
What to Bring: 2M HAM radio, recovery gear, food/drink for lunch and snacks.

Trail Rating: 4 - Intermediate. Road surfaces are rutted, rocky and sandy with steps not exceeding 14", with considerable slickrock surfaces. Water not exceeding 12" with some mud possible. Good vehicle approach and departure angles are helpful. Tall tires (33" plus), sliders, and traction aid devices (lockers, limited slips, A-TRAC) are recommended. Average driving skills are desirable.
